Beautiful hand-painted Romanian pottery, decorated using a traditional Romanian technique.

Once shaped, the pottery is painted by hand, with several layers of paint creating beautiful, unique decorations.

After the first firing at 850–950°C, a water-based glaze is applied. The pottery then dries and is fired again at 1000–1100°C.

The interaction between clay and the many layers of colour can create fine, crack-like lines. These are normal in Romanian pottery and are not considered defects.

In Romania, this pottery is mainly used decoratively, although some also use it for food.

The possibilities are limited only by your imagination: display it on a wall, keep jewellery in it by the bedside, or use it to set a beautiful table.

The pottery can be used for food. We recommend washing it by hand.
